MEET RAINA NADLER

RAINA NADLER

Raina Nadler, Attorney at Law, has been practicing law since 2001. Ms. Nadler provides a unique combination of compassion, dedication, tenacity, and legal knowledge. Since graduating from the Georgia State University College of Law, Ms. Nadler has practiced in the areas of probate, criminal and family law. She also ran a public guardianship program. She regularly practices before many of the probate and superior court judges in the metro Atlanta area.

Prior to law school, Ms. Nadler earned her graduate degree from Georgia State University in urban studies with a graduate certificate in Gerontology. She worked for Atlanta Legal Aid Senior Law Project, Georgia Council on Aging and the Department of Community Health.

Sometimes someone you love can no longer make or communicate decisions on what is best for them. This may happen to someone who is younger and has a disability or severe mental illness and could never make their own decisions but are turning 18, or when the person reaches older years and can no longer effectively make decisions. Guardianship is a legal process to allow someone else, preferably a loved one, to take on the legal role of guardian. When the need arises there is also the process of being a conservator to handle the financial side of making sure decisions are made.
